Here is the first look at Interstellar. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly magazine's upcoming issue, which is due to release on May 16th. The picture below marks the first time we're seeing "Cooper" the central character of the film limned by the Academy Award winning actor Matthew McConaughey.
Keep in mind folks that Interstellar is still pretty much a top secret project and it will remain one until it hits the theaters on November 7th. The new trailer as you already know will also be revealed in front of Godzilla on May 15th.
Let us know what you think of the new image below.

Batman Begins and Inception director Christopher Nolan pitched Interstellar to his longtime production designer Nathan Crawley with a question. "He asked, 'Do you want to do movies about black holes, relativity, gravity and their effect on time?'" recalls Crawley. "Sounded Fantastic!" Team Nolan is wary of saying much more about the sci-fi spectacle, which stars Matthew McConaughey (above with Timothee Chalamet and McKenzie Foy) and premieres on Nov 7 - they'd rather let the film's trailer do the talking when it hits on May 16th. "The trailer highlights a line of dialogue from the film: 'Mandkind was born on Earth; it was never meant to die here.'" says producer Emma Thomas. "It emphasizes... mankind's destiny in the universe.” But beyond the big ideas, Crawley says, "ultimately, it's this very human story about a father a daughter." - Entertainment Weekly
