The eyes and ears of the worldwide motion picture theater industry will be focused on Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, as the fourth annual CinemaCon, the Official convention of NATO (National Association of Theatre Owners), takes flight. Since its inception in 2011, CinemaCon has become the largest and most important annual gathering of cinema owners and operators from around the world.
Disney, Paramount, Sony, 20th Century Fox, Universal and Warner Bros. are all hosting preview presentations of their movie rosters for 2014 and beyond.
The filmmakers program of CinemaCon, this year will have a joint presentation on Thursday (March 27th) from Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures International, a one-on-one session with director Christopher Nolan. Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros, as you all know, are releasing Christopher Nolan's sci-fi saga Interstellar. Though, it hasn't been reported if footage from the film will be shown. This won't be the first time Chris Nolan will be attending the event; in 2012 Nolan showed off a 5 minute footage of The Dark Knight Rises during Warner Bros. presentation.
If anyone is attending the event this year and if you are interested in reporting back to us, let me know at [email protected]. As always we will be top of the updates, so stay tuned, for that, because there is a possibility of Interstellar footage screening at the event.
